Above USD 500 we check returns closely. Trying a coat on indoors is expected and fine. Send it back with the hang tag still attached and uncut, no scent or cosmetic marks, and no sign it has been worn outdoors. Those three things are the whole test.

E-03 extended to mid-calf with 130 g more down to fill the added chambers. The extra length covers the thigh, which is where most heat is lost standing still — the reason a long coat feels disproportionately warmer than its fill weight suggests. There is a two-way zip so it opens from the hem for sitting.

Care

Dry cleaning
Dry cleaning is not recommended; solvents strip the natural oils from the down.
Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a down-specific detergent, front-loading drum only.
Down care
Tumble dry on low with three clean dryer balls until the clusters are fully open and no damp weight remains. Expect two to three hours. Storing a down garment compressed flattens the clusters.
