A woven wool face over a synthetic fill, which is unusual — most padded jackets use nylon because wool is heavy and does not shed water. It is here because a wool face reads as a coat rather than as technical outerwear, and because the fill is synthetic there is no down disclosure to make beyond the fill weight.
